As a part of our regular community work activities, we organised a day of painting the walls of a childrens’ home at Shivaji Nagar run by the Sparsha Trust. And the painting was done, not by hired painters, but by the residents of the home, and all of us at Last Mile It was amazing and inspiring to see the enthusiasm and vigour of the group of 12-16 year old boys who stay at the home One of the walls was used to hand print a tree. The children painted a large tree and the leaves were the hand prints of the whole group of children and few of our Last Milers. It was a wonderful experience for us to be part of this high energy, happy group of children. The event on 26th November 2016 was one of the most memorable of the various community activities we have done so far.
